For my family, reunions are unheard of. I am now a 30 year old woman with 2 kids, and can’t remember one single family reunion in all my life. My Best Friend’s Present

My best friend’s birthday is going to come in a few days; she has been my most important friend ever since we were still in the junior high school. At that time, we were just thirteen or fourteen years old, we didn’t know much about the outside society and the complex relationship among human beings, but we just saw each other as the best friend in this world.
I still remember that we went to have dinner together every night, we shopped in the small market near our class building, we complained about the large amount of homework in the holiday, and we finished it together. We were still classmates in the high school, and we experienced the best and most sad time in our life together. So when we graduated from the high school, we felt a sense of deep sadness. But luckily, we are still in the same city now.
She is just that kind of girl who like wearing sports suit very much, a little like me in former times. But she has also been changing herself in recent times, due to the fact that change seems to be a major tide among the university students. Birthday’s Present for Friend

Yesterday, when I was on the line, I suddenly came to know the fact that my best friend is going to spend her twentieth birthday in a few days. I have been busy preparing an English exam during the past several weeks, I almost forget about this important case. We were desk mates in the high school, and our friendship has gone through almost six years till now, since we already knew each other when we were in the junior high school.
So naturally, I should come to the thought of sending something as present for her most important birthday. Everybody says that when a girl is in her twenties, she must face the truth that she is going to experience the most serious years in her total life, choosing majors, jobs, life time friends, and even husband. All the girls see this birthday as the most important one; this can be seen from our daily exchanges on this floor, where all the girls in our class live.
But then, what to choose as a present remains a question for me. She studies in a different university which is located in a very remote city from me, almost in the most northern part of this country. So it is impossible for me to attend her birthday party on that special day, since I have to prepare for the final exam during that time and also, the train ticket is very expensive.
She has been on the process of changing herself during these several months, girls always do this when they enter the university, when they don’t have to worry about the studies so much as in former times, and it is also a proper time for them to adapt themselves to the development of the outside large society. My friend is also one of them, so it is improper for me to buy a pair of tennis rackets again this year, like at her last birthday, when I sent her one.
It always seems to be a difficult time for me when I am thinking about choosing a present, so I asked girls around me for advice. The season of festival at last comes to us in these days, Christmas and New Year’s Day together come into our everyday life, when the life here is a little boring, without much things happen that can be said to be interesting or amazing to us. I have drawn many lessons from her, and I began to view my nowadays life.
So return to my former purpose, I looked around on the street for almost two hours and finally came to something that really attracted my eyes, that is, a wrist chain from Links of London.
