Maybe your old logo has got to go, or you need new corporate clothing. Perhaps an important event is on the horizon, and you need to encourage team camaraderie amongst your employees or find a way to advertise your company’s attendance at or sponsorship of the event. Maybe it’s just high time to remind your local community that you exist.A design contest might be exactly what you need.
Why ?
are popular, and that’s not going to change any time soon – they’re comfortable, casual, and they allow their wearer to express a world of personality through words and images.
Every time people wear your company shirt in public – and if it looks good, it will be worn – they’ll be doing some serious advertising for you.Why hold a design competition?
Of course, you could design your company’s in-house, or commission the work out to a particular designer, but there are some distinct advantages to running a design contest within your local community.
* You’ll end up with multiple designs from which to choose* Promotion of the contest is also promotion of your company* Running a competition within your community helps to foster a sense of goodwill towards your organisation and eloquently demonstrates your involvement* The activity itself is different and interesting and inspiring and engaging* You’ll get multiple opportunities to pick up leads galore!
In the simplest terms, all you really need to do is decide on competition guidelines, make sure they’re known, and offer an attractive prize to the winner (cash and publicity are always good!)
Did you know there are design contests running continuously on the internet? http://www.designbyhumans.com/.
